Printer must be set to FW-UPGRADE: ON for procedure work
-Press– MENU # 1 9 3 4 MENU (fast).
-Will show TECH MENU
-Press "OK"
-Search "SERVICE FUNCTIONS"
-Press "OK"
-Searh "FW-UPGRADE"
-Press "OK"
-Select "ON"
-Press "OK"
The file sent contains: "FIX...", "usbprns2" e INSTRUCCIONS.
With printer in NORMAL MODE, PRINTER SPOOLER EMPTY AND WITH USB CABLE CONECTED, just drag FIX onto usbprn2
After this procedure in a few minutes the printer will restart. Remove the toner chip and try printing without a chip. From that moment on, do not use a chip in the toner anymore.
ATTENTION!!!After successfully reprogramming the printer, remove the chip from the cartridge and store it somewhere safe (the chip). In all the cartridges that you are going to use in the printer, the chip must be removed or seal. If you accidentally inserted a new cartridge without removing the chip, the device will be blocked. To unlock it, do the reset using the same chip..
