Firmware Version (newer versions need downgrade in board)

Configuration report:Press [Menu] find: {Setup syst. } / {System Setup} click [OK] use [Left] - [Right] buttons to find: {Report} / {Report}click [OK] and select: {Configuration} / {Configuration} and press [OK].

Supplies information: Press [Menu] to find: {Setup syst. } / {System Setup} click [OK]use the [Left] - [Right] buttons to find: {Report} / {Report} click [OK]and select: {Exp. material} / {Supplies Info} and click [OK]..

If you cannot print the report, the data is verified through remote access. If the toner is on a chip or does not work, an additional $7 will be charged to generate the reset without CRUM (without the toner chip).

I received the files, now what?

First of all prepare the printer to receive the file:
With the printer turned off, press and hold the button: [Stop]. Press and hold the [Power] button, after ~ 1 sec release both buttons and quickly press the [Stop] button again. Upon successful entry into forced mode, a message on the MFP display {Download Mode. Press Stop Key} will change to {Wait Image}. The compressed file sent contains: "FIX...", "usbprns2" and INSTRUCCIONES. With the printer in download mode as described above, simply drag FIX onto usbprn2
 

After this procedure in a few minutes the printer will restart. Remove the toner chip and try printing without a chip. From that moment on, do not use a chip in the toner anymore.

ATTENTION!!!After successfully reprogramming the printer, remove the chip from the cartridge and store it somewhere safe (the chip). In all the cartridges that you are going to use in the printer, the chip must be removed or seal. If you accidentally inserted a new cartridge without removing the chip, the device will be blocked.  To unlock it, do the reset using the same chip..
